Good Corporate Governance
PT PLN (Persero) is committed to implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) consistently, sustainably, and across all aspects of its business operations and decision-making processes. GCG serves as the foundation for conducting business in a professional, transparent, accountable, responsible, independent, and fair manner.
The Company implements GCG in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Regulation of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Number PER-2/MBU/03/2023 on Corporate Governance and Significant Corporate Activities of State-Owned Enterprises, as well as relevant corporate governance policies and recognized best practices.
PLN continuously strengthens its governance framework by enhancing governance structures and mechanisms, refining internal policies and guidelines, and improving the effectiveness of oversight, internal control, risk management, compliance, and business ethics. The Company also promotes a strong culture of integrity throughout the organization to maintain the trust of shareholders, customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
As part of its commitment to continuous improvement, PLN regularly assesses and evaluates the effectiveness of its GCG implementation. The results of these evaluations support ongoing improvements to governance practices, accountability, business processes, and the alignment of corporate strategy, risk management, compliance, and business performance.
